IN-PRODUCTION INSPECTION

WHAT IS IT?

In-production inspection is a quality control process in which a professional inspector physically inspects products during the manufacturing process to ensure that they meet the required specifications and standards. The inspector checks for issues such as defects, incorrect materials or colors, incorrect assembly or packaging, and any other issues that may impact the quality or functionality of the final product.

WHAT WE CAN DO TO HELP?

The purpose of in-production inspection is to catch and correct any issues as early as possible in the manufacturing process, before the products are shipped to the customer. This helps to ensure that the final products meet the required quality standards, and reduces the chances of having to deal with defective products or customer complaints.

In-production inspections are usually carried out at random intervals throughout the manufacturing process. Our inspector will complete the following tasks and report any issues found and the factory will be required to correct the issues before the inspector will allow the production to continue. This process helps ensure that the final products are of the highest quality and meet the customer’s expectations.

  • Verify that the products being produced match the approved samples and the purchase order specifications.
  • Check the products for any defects, such as incorrect assembly, missing or incorrect parts, or any other issues that may impact the quality or functionality of the final product.
  • Ensure that the products are being produced in accordance with the required standards, such as safety and environmental regulations.
  • Check that the packaging and labeling of the products meet the required standards and are correctly applied.
  • Ensure that the products are properly stored and protected during the production process.
  • Inspect the production line for compliance with safety and quality regulations.
  • Take photographs and make detailed notes of any issues found and reported them to the factory management.
  • Ensure that the factory has implemented corrective actions for any issues found.
  • Keep records of the inspection results and submit them to the client or relevant parties.
